Spring is here and the hedgehogs have started to come out of hibernation….what a shock they will get when they see the weather here in Scotland this week.
This is the view looking across the river Tay towards Dundee about 10am today.
If you have a hedgehog out during the day then please collect it and put it in a box first and then phone for advice, if you phone first it is likely to have vanished by the time you go to collect it. If it turns out that it does not need to be taken into care then it is easy enough to release it.
Point to remember is that these are nocturnal animals and will only come out during the day when they are needing help, put them in a dark box and they will scratch to try to get out to the light but still need care.
